KPN was looking for digital ways to uplift contact possibilities with its clients.
KPN’s aim was to increase clients’satisfaction and at the same time maintain contacts with clients more effectively.
Personal Contact
A multimedia-application was sought for with which business relations could get in touch, person to person, with the proper KPN-worker. The moment the KPN client is logged in, he or she can see, with the help of photos, which KPN workers are on line.
The online KPN-workers can be “clicked on” by web visitors. Live chatting, or, with the help of a microphone and/or webcam, communicating is possible. If the workers in question are not online, the business relation can send a request for contact. It is also possible to send offline workers an e-mail or textmessage via the site. In this way the KPN client is always in quick and personal contact with the right person. By now, clients highly praise this personal contact with KPN.

Technical tour-de-force
TriMM’s webdevelopers, programmers, interaction designers and graphical workers
designed this interactive Business Portal in close co-operation with KPN’s sales organization. The application developed in Flash is unique in the world at the introduction. Never before webbased person to person communication was used on such a scale with Adobe’s applications. Because it will be available for 32.000 KPN clients at the beginning of 2008, the optimal scalability has been tested together with Adobe people. This has resulted in a hosting environment built by TriMM in which KPN’s thousands of clients can be accommodated.
